Since 2005 the Ontario Government has been identifying a diverse range and mix of housing options and densities, including additional residential units and affordable housing to meet the projected needs of current and future residents and establishing targets for affordable ownership housing and rental housing. The Tatum Group has been following these changes closely and in 2017 began developing Single-Family Homes into Legal Duplexes. The next phase will be the introduction of legal Secondary Dwelling Units (SDU’s) often referred to as Tiny Homes, Laneway Houses, Coach Houses and Micro Dwellings.
